  1. UNTTLD wins at Mercedes-Benz Start Up with perfectly modern Kabuki-inspired robes that sashayed along the runway leaving all the other competitors up in smoke.
  2. UNTTLD also wins the Star Wars competition going home with a prize of $15,000 making their grand total $45,000 in two days. But as we know, this money doesn’t go a long way for fashion designers so here’s hoping they make good use of it!
  3. You can find Rita Remark crouched backstage doing manicure touch-ups on models with her Q-tip and Acetone in hand. We love you, Rita!
  4. Lucian Matis showed a wonderfully ornate and quite colourful collection of evening gowns at the tents, which nodded to Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda. We loved the PANDORA stacked rings and kitschy headbands-cum-princess crowns that models sported down the runway.
  5. There’s sandwiches!!!!! We especially love the tomato, mozzarella and basil tramezzino from the Ritz Carlton food stand located at the back of the tents. Rejoice!
  6. Narces showed pretty dresses (which is what they’re known for) in lovely pastels for Spring. We could have done without the bandage pieces and had more lace and chiffon. We loved designer, Nikki’s blue crimped hair, though.
  7. At Kim’s show there’s always a crowd. She is the reigning queen of WMCFW (pace, Robin Kay). This season Pink Tartan was daring as ever. Kim’s designs were much younger, more relaxed and fun than we’ve ever seen. Lots of cropped tops means extra Lagree classes this spring. We like to call the collection sporty-boho. You heard it here first.
  8. Everyone’s favourite blogger twins were back in attendance at Pink Tartan. Cailli and Sam Beckerman came straight from the airport (they were partying in NYC with H&M and The Backstreet Boys just the night before) and they were clad in the latest Balmain x H&M collection pieces and thigh-high boots.
  9. Designer duo Eran and Elisa closed Day 3 with another memorable collection for Mackage Spring ’16. Instead of lots of colour, they kept the palette monochromatic with pops of coral red and turquoise. We were most excited about the menswear pieces this season. Can you say studded shorts and jumpers?
  10. Head to our street style gallery shot on location by Walking Canucks to find the best dressed at the tents on Day 2 and Day 3! (And spot us on there, too).
